How to protect your website?

To better protect your website, follow these rules:

Backup your website regularly: FTP and database backups will protect you even if all data is deleted from the server. With regular backups, you can quickly restore your website and minimize downtime.

Secure your CMS: if the website is based on a CMS, make sure all options related to website security are turned on. See the documentation for your CMS to learn more about its security settings.

Use different passwords: it's not a good idea to use the same password for different accounts. To create complex and strong passwords for your accounts, you can use a password generator. Passwords should be changed regularly and should not be shared with others.

Keep your files safe: scan your system and server files with an antivirus program regularly, to make sure your website is safe and virus-free. However, if you noticed strange files appearing in your FTP directories, or Google marked your website as harmful with the notification: "The site you want to visit seems suspicious and may not be safe", please contact us for help!
